Riverhouse at the Park

You really get alot for the money here. Yes it's a vintage room out of the 70's but that is what makes it special and appealing. The room we rented is quite literally the size of a raised ranch home. And the AIR CONDITIONING IS NORMAL and doesn't run on a sensor that shuts it off when it dosent sense motion like some many places are doing now adays. The customer service was great, we drove from memphis to gatlinburg and forgot about the hour central to eastern we lost and the front desk left the key for us because they where closing and we would be arriving till 1am. They said just come down in the morning. Now we had booked 3 nights here but had the worst night of any trip we have ever taken throughout America the first night here because the TN DOT decided to run a scissor lift with a constant back up alarm right next to our hotel from 1am till 5am working on traffic lights(definitely not the hotels fault). When I went down to the front office and said we where leaving TN that morning because of the awful time we had thier they said they wouldn't be charging us for the 2 remaining nights. That was a very kind gesture by this establishment and very much appreciated. They only thing I would change here is the comforters on the bed are to heavy for summer use, otherwise I would have loved to stay longer had TN not be a disappointing state to Visit.

We've been staying here since the fire that destroyed their other hotel. It's a good location just one street off the parkway. They bring fresh donuts and coffee to your room in the morning. Nice big rooms, a little outdated.

Nice hotel. Rooms don't have usual necessities like shampoo, conditioners, etc.. , the iron board was broken, the good thing about them is that they keep the hotel clean ! They serve the little breakfast from 8-10 am. If you wake up early you won't get it. Nice location at the edge of the parkway!

I was there with during Christmas with Family and we loved it., some of the post say dated but I say Rustic. Super Clean!!! The Donuts, Coffee, Juice is brought to your room. As a matter of fact as soon as you hang up the phone, someone with a smile is knocking on the door. Easy walk to everything. We will only stay here from now on. Love this Rustic Place at the end of Gatlinburg before heading up to the Park.

This place is a gem. Comfortable rooms that are large, and with a private balcony. The people are extremely nice and accommodating. Free continental breakfast every morning consists of donuts baked fresh every morning on property with coffee, juice, or tea brought to your room along with any supplies you need. We'll definitely stay here again.

It's an older, outdated hotel but it's always clean. We stay here every trip we make. Just steps from everything on the Gatlinburg strip.

Our family absolutely loves The Riverhouse at the Park. We don’t stay anywhere else in Gatlinburg. The room is huge! And, very well maintained and spotless clean. While the decor can be what some consider outdated, that’s part of the charm. Free breakfast is basic donuts or toast, but the donuts are delicious and brought right to your door. Gas fireplace (in season), large balconies on the river, close proximity to the National Park and Pigeon Forge Bypass, and being able to leave your car and walk to shops and restaurants easily are all reasons we love this place. Rates are very reasonable and we’ve never had a negative experience with the staff or motel. You might even see a bear right from your balcony as we have! Highly recommend!

This location has always been a family favorite of ours. I stayed here as a child and now get to enjoy trips with my family. We absolutely love the views from the riverside rooms.
